The Colt Foundation has a good reputation for supporting research in occupational and environmental health. They’re all about making sure that people have safe work environments and a healthy planet to live on. Every year, they provide up to four PhD fellowships for students pursuing doctoral studies in these important areas at universities in the UK.

Financial Support
The fellowship offers financial support that includes:
- Stipend: £25,301 a year (£28,298 for students in London) for the 2025/26 academic year, with annual adjustments based on UK inflation.
- Research Expenses: Up to £5,000 each year, if you can provide good reasons for the costs.
- Tuition Fees: Full coverage for UK students. International students need to find extra funding for any fee differences.

The selection process looks at:
